START - PICK UP AND TRASNFERS
You will be picked up at your hotel and after a short transfer to the airport of Sal, you will take a 45 minute flight to São Filipe (Fogo Island).
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY
The tour starts in São Filipe with the visit of the historic center of the city.
Afterwards, the tour continues through the coast of Fogo, from where you will also see all the lava-path of old eruptions, to reach then the top of the volcano, where you will enter into the old crater.
The first impression will probably be "Oh wow, we are on the moon!": Black sand and black rocks, the panorama is breathtaking!
The lunch is held in one of the local restaurants where you can enjoy some typical Cape Verdean dishes.
After lunch the tour continues on the other coast of Fogo, going through some villages and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere of Cape Verde.
END - FLIGHT AND TRANSFER BACK
It's time to go back!
Your tour guide will take you to the airport from where you will fly back to Sal and you will be taken back to your Hotel/Accomodation.
